Christian Matthias Adler (1787 - 1850)

From 1804, Adler was a pupil of Friedrich Gotthard Naumann, who was court painter to Margrave Alexander von Ansbach. In 1808 he took up porcelain painting, and after moving to Munich in 1811 he worked at the Nymphenburg porcelain manufactory.
