Johann Joseph Rauch (um/c 1805 - 1868)

Like his brothers Johann Nepomuk (1804–1847) and Ferdinand (1813–1852), Johann Joseph was born in Vienna. All three brothers attended the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Johann, who worked as a landscape and animal painter and etcher, participated in the Academy exhibitions from 1826 to 1850.
