Here Anton Einsle shows himself at work. A chalk holder and the corner of a canvas indicate his profession.
On 16 January 1838, Einsle was appointed painter to the court, and subsequently he often added k.k. Hofmaler to his signature. In this self-portrait he uses the abbreviation KKH.
