Future exhibitions

To mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Francis of Assisi, the Cathedral Museum, in collaboration with the Münster Association for Franciscan Research, is planning an exhibition that will shed light on his life and his lasting influence.

The Cross of St Rupert is the oldest and most important treasure of the Cathedral Museum and a major masterpiece of 8th-century European art. After the completion of urgently needed conservation measures the cross will be presented in renewed splendor, together with all research findings, as part of an exhibition.
